We are looking for a determined and driven Business Development Director to join our Executive Team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be able to inspire, lead and drive our business to ensure we maximise the fantastic business partner opportunities we have created. You will fully understand how to devise and execute robust implementation plans, as well as seeking out new opportunities.

We are currently in the process of pioneering a unique market opportunity for all our channel partners, including those within the financial services sector. This presents a rare and amazing opportunity for the right individual to join us and be part of something that has not been done before.

Our business partners, will-writers, solicitors, financial advisers, financial corporates, employee benefit providers and funeral directors refer their clients to us and we provide our innovative, highly focused customer service to the family. We provide value to our partners by tailoring our proposition depending on their service or commercial requirements.

Run by an innovative and dynamic team and backed by long-term Private Equity investors, the market opportunity exists for the business to grow by a factor of 10 over the next five years.


About you


The individual that takes on this challenge will have a proven track record of identifying market opportunities and forging, long standing B2B partnerships. You will be able to demonstrate an expert knowledge and flair for building relationships with intermediaries through commercial distribution channels, from inception, through implementation and maintaining them through challenging growth targets.

You will have the desire and ability to build and develop a talented and engaged business development team that can deliver on challenging KPI’s within all sales channels. You will have the gravitas to not only influence and develop those in your team, but will also be comfortable in identifying and driving key areas of change in other areas of the business, whilst maintaining strong internal relationships.

  • To take responsibility for and be held to account for demanding growth targets
  • To develop a team to deliver
  • To lead key accounts and represent our business in the Boardroom of household name

  • Sponsor and project lead on new projects or change programmes for the success of sales and marketing
  • Contribute to the development of processes and innovation and ensure effective implementation
  • Responsible for setting and ensuring delivery of KPIs across sales and marketing
  • Ensure correct resource allocation to deliver results
  • Develop effective relationships across the entire business
  • To demonstrate solution sales success, within a relevant industry
  • To ensure people are being developed and measured accurately and effectivel
  • To identify/enhance/recommend  software development or sales and marketing software
